As integral member of the professional team at U.S. Anesthesia Partners, Mauricio Mejia, MD, serves on the Greater Colorado Anesthesia (GCA) Peri-operative Surgical Home and Compliance Committees. He also serves as Medical Director of the National Jewish Minimally Invasive Diagnostic Center (MIDC); the Provider Advisory Group for Electronic Medical Records & Order Entry for HealthOne–Rose Medical Center; the Multi-Disciplinary Quality Improvement Committee for Centura Health–Parker Adventist Hospital; and on the Bundled Payment Pilot Study for Total Joint Replacement at Centura Health–Porter Adventist Hospital.

Dr. Mejia earned his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, graduating with honors in Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Epidemiology, Immunology, General Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. He studied Pediatric ICU Rotation at Harvard University Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, and studied Emergency Medicine Rotation at Hospital Universitario del Valle in Cali, Colombia. Earlier in his education, Dr. Mejia earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical-Mechanical Engineering with minors in Biology and Spanish from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.
